This booklet is the 2025 edition of the Academy’s rulings on orthography, punctuation, and transcription, updated from the 2017 edition. It contains the spelling rules for unvocalized Hebrew, punctuation rules, and multiple sets of transcription rules: rules for transcribing Hebrew into Latin characters; rules for transcribing Arabic into Hebrew characters; and rules for transcribing other languages into Hebrew characters.
